You are here: Domus Macellum Funebres Ars Sarcophagus of Crepereia Tryphena (Rome)
The front of the sarcophagus is decored with a series of continous strigils. On the short left side, a young woman, lyring on a cline, is mourned by two sorrowful figures, maybe her parents. The name of the deceased girl was engraved on the lid, now lost.
